It has been a long and arduous time for me as a musician. Essentially, the pandemic shook me loose from all the foundations I’d built for myself. I was adrift. And, I know I wasn’t alone. It’s been hard, hasn’t it?
As summer of 2021 begins to blossom here in Maine, I find myself hoping to bud out a little and find my footing. I have been missing playing music for people in a room (not playing for a camera in my office) for months, and now is the time for me to begin planning for my recovery.
I am looking for new opportunities to play music both, as a solo musician and as a member in a group or duo. If you’re a musician in Maine looking for some interesting guitar work to pair with what you’re doing, please let me know! Or, if you’re reopening your business and want some live music, let m e know! I’m available again.
My guitar has been in the shop getting repaired for the past two months, and now that I have it back, I’m excited as ever to play it and let others hear it. What are you excited about as the end of pandemic shutdowns begins to recede?
Aaron
