A modern musician with a heart full of folk music, Aaron Lefebvre is a finger-style guitarist from Pittsburgh, PA. He grew up in the rural hills of booth Central and Southwestern Pennsylvania in a household where folk, blues, rock, and jazz were a constant presence in the air. Blooming from his self-taught approach with acoustic and electric guitar, his music combines traditional and folk guitar musings with modern finger-style techniques that follow a musical narrative to inspire the imagination.
Aaron has shared stages with guitarists such as Antoine Dufour, Vin Downes, Craig D'Andrea, Peter Janson, Steve Davison, Ian Ethan Case, Daniel Bachman, Ryan Ayers, singer-songwriters Jess Klein, Carrie Elkin, Edward David Anderson, Gaelynn Lea, and bluegrass group, Della Mae. He has also presented a guitar workshop at the University of Massachusetts Boston campus entitled, “The Art of Not Knowing,” an exploration of musical imagination and creative process, and speaks publicly about his experiences with vision disabilities and the arts.
